In Fire – There is Still Love presenteert Dirry een glassculptuur die de dynamiek van het menselijke hart op krachtige wijze visualiseert. De vaas is licht transparant en deels gevuld met intens passionele kleuren, die de spanning tussen leegte en vervulling laat zien. Is het hart leeg of vult het zich vanuit de vaas? Het is gewelfd, kloppend als een levend wezen, bonkend van verlangen, hunkerend naar iets dat het niet kan grijpen en hoopvol voor wat de toekomst brengt. Dit hart is een weerspiegeling van onze diepste emoties, die ons maken tot wie we zijn, met al hun contradicties en intensiteit.
Het hart symboliseert de spirituele voorzienigheid die ons doet leven, een kracht die nooit tegen ons zal keren. Het werk attendeert ons op de voortdurende aanwezigheid van liefde en hoop!

In Fire – There is Still Love, Dirry presents a glass sculpture that powerfully visualises the dynamic nature of the human heart. The vase is lightly translucent and partially filled with intensely passionate colours, revealing the tension between emptiness and fulfilment. Is the heart empty, or is it being filled from within the vase? Curved and pulsating like a living being, it beats with longing, yearning for something just beyond its reach, while remaining hopeful for what the future may bring. This heart reflects our deepest emotions, which shape who we are in all their intensity and contradictions.
The heart symbolises the spiritual providence that sustains our lives – a force that will never turn against us. The artwork reminds us of the enduring presence of love and hope.
